Clear Correct - A new choice in Clear Orthodontics 

 We have recently added a new company to our providers of clear orthodontics. Clear Correct is the new company and they are based out of Dallas Texas. The innovator behind this company was a very large user of the Invisalign system and wanted to make some improvements to the system and try to lower the cost. The benefit to our patients is in the ability to pass on these savings to you. All clear orthodontics systems work in a similar fashion with progressive movement built into the tray. The aligner is changed every 3 weeks and movement continues as we try to reach our final goal of a beautiful smile. If you have been considering straightening your teeth and improving your smile, now is a great time to talk with our doctors about the options available. Some can be simple and some can be complex, but either way we have a great, cost effective system for you.

The Nitty-Gritty of Toothpaste

Besides making your mouth taste clean and fresh, what is in toothpaste? Lots of things that help clean your teeth and prevent cavities:
 
 1. Abrasive to grind away debris and polish teeth
 2. Fluoride to prevent cavities
 3. Antimicrobials to fight bacteria
 4. Anti-tartar agents to prevent tartar build-up
 5. Desensitizing agents to relieve tooth sensitivity
 6. Great flavors to make our mouths feel and smell clean
 
And while most toothpastes claim to be 'whitening' pastes, their only whitening benefit is from the removal of stains and plaque. Depending on your specific situation, we might suggest a special toothpaste for you. Ask your hygienist for a recommendation tailored to your needs.
HOW 

The first Friday in January we come together under the leadership of Dr. Menaker  and Dr. Rodney and spend the day setting our goals for the upcoming year.  This year the topic was HOW.  Laughter and fun set the tone for the day while we spent the next 4 hours sharing ways to be better communicators to each other and to you.  We learned that HOW we do anything means everything.   It is our commitment to you that each of us will strive to reach HOW we can serve you with the highest quality of care and friendship.
